1. Check before use

Before using the handheld steamer each time, check the device carefully. Check whether the power cord is damaged or cracked. If there is a problem with the power cord, stop using it immediately to avoid the risk of electric shock. At the same time, check whether the water tank is firmly installed and whether there is any sign of water leakage. Also pay attention to whether the nozzle and steam outlet of the steamer are blocked. If there is a blockage, it may cause the steam to not spray normally, and even cause abnormal internal pressure.

2. Precautions for adding water

Only add clean distilled water or purified water to the water tank of the steamer. Tap water contains impurities such as minerals. Long-term use may form scale inside the steamer, affecting its performance and life. When adding water, follow the water level line marked on the steamer manual. Do not add too much water, otherwise it may leak during use, causing burns or damage to other items.

3. Safety points in operation

Holding posture

When holding the steamer, maintain the correct holding posture and hold the handle tightly to ensure that it will not be damaged or injured due to accidental slipping during use. At the same time, avoid touching the steam nozzle with your fingers, because the steam nozzle is hot when working and may burn your fingers.

Distance control

When ironing clothes, keep an appropriate distance between the nozzle of the hanging iron and the clothes. It is generally recommended to be about 10-15 cm. If the distance is too close, the local temperature and humidity of the clothes may be too high, which will not only damage the clothes, but also burn yourself due to the high-temperature steam; if the distance is too far, the wrinkles of the clothes cannot be effectively removed.

Prevent burns

During use, be careful to avoid touching the heating part of the hanging iron, especially after use, the body and nozzle of the hanging iron are still very hot. If you need to move or place the hanging iron, it is best to use heat-insulating gloves or wait for it to cool down fully before operating.

4. Maintenance and storage after use

After use, turn off the power first, and then unplug it. After the hanging iron is completely cooled, pour out the remaining water in the water tank to prevent bacteria from growing in the water tank or corrosion of the water tank due to long-term residue. Store the steamer in a dry, ventilated place, away from direct sunlight, away from flammable items, and prevent fire caused by high temperature or other factors.

By strictly following these safety guidelines, you can use the handheld steamer with confidence and let it better serve your clothes.
