Check the equipment: Before use, carefully check whether the appearance of the steamer is damaged and whether the power cord is damaged or cracked. At the same time, check whether the water tank is clean and whether there are cracks or leaks. Check whether the steam nozzle is blocked. If it is blocked, it needs to be cleaned carefully.
Choose a suitable placement: Place the steamer in a stable, dry and well-ventilated place. Make sure there is a suitable power socket nearby and the socket can withstand the power of the steamer. Avoid using it in humid or narrow spaces to prevent accidents.
Connect the power: Plug the plug into the power socket and turn on the power switch of the steamer. The preheating time of different models of steamers varies, generally between 30 seconds and 2 minutes. During the preheating process, you can prepare the clothes to be ironed.
3. Clothing preparation and ironing
Hanging clothes: Hang the clothes to be ironed on a suitable hanger, preferably a hanger with a certain width and support, to ensure that the clothes can droop naturally and flat. For long clothes, be careful not to let the bottom of the clothes touch the ground.
Adjust the steam setting (if any): Adjust the steam output intensity of the steam hanging iron according to the material and degree of wrinkles of the clothes. For thin and delicate materials (such as silk and chiffon), choose a lower steam intensity; for heavy clothes (such as coats and jeans), you can use a higher steam intensity.
Start ironing: Hold the nozzle of the handheld hanging iron at an appropriate distance from the clothes, generally 10-15 cm. Starting from the top of the clothes, move the nozzle slowly and evenly, let the steam cover the surface of the clothes, and gradually stretch the wrinkles. For details such as necklines, cuffs, and hems, you can move the nozzle slightly closer to the clothes, but be careful to avoid burns or damage to the clothes. During the ironing process, you can adjust the hanging angle of the clothes as needed to better handle each part.
4. After ironing
Turn off the power: After ironing, turn off the power switch of the steam garment steamer first, and then unplug it.
Drain the water tank (if necessary): If the garment steamer is not used for a long time, it is recommended to drain the remaining water in the water tank to prevent bacteria or scale from growing in the water tank.
Following the above operating guidelines, you can give full play to the functions of the professional-grade steam garment steamer, bringing convenience and high-quality results to your clothing care.
